About us The Athena Rooms is, quite simply, the largest purpose built rehearsal rooms venue in Somerset. But we are so much more than just rehearsal rooms. We also offer recording services and PA hire to any band, whether they rehearse here or not. We’re home to the Guy Porter School of Guitar. And we’re in the process of developing a range of band and artist management services to support our bands even further as they grow in their careers.

And whilst our 6 studio rooms are ideal for band rehearsals and music tuition, they are also available to any person or organisation needing space for any activity, musical or otherwise. For example, our largest room, The Turner Room, is specially designed to double up as a meeting room, and is an ideal alternative ‘non-corporate’ venue for training sessions, seminars or other group activities. We like to think what marks us apart is our commitment to quality and continual improvement, superior customer service and a realistic understanding of what it’s like to be a hard-working musician. But above all it’s the creative and supportive atmosphere and sense of community that our amazingly diverse and talented customers have generated in the short time we’ve be open that makes The Athena Rooms so unique.
